PRIVACY POLICY

What you share, how it supports your coaching, and how to manage it.

Last updated: September 24, 2026

Know what is public. Your training dashboard and fitness records are for you and your coach. The Progress Wall is public. Uploaded avatar photos also have public image URLs, even if you do not post to the Wall. Choose a built-in icon if you do not want to upload a public photo.

1. Who handles your information

NRG Personal Training, operated by Eric Douglas in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, provides in-person personal training, online coaching, and hybrid programs. This policy applies to information collected through this website and used to provide those services.

For privacy questions or requests, email Eric.Douglas@NRG-PT.com. Please do not include passwords or unnecessary medical details in your email.

2. Information we collect

  • Inquiries and communication: your name, email address, message, and any goals or other details you choose to share when contacting your coach.
  • Account information: your name, email address, account identifier, authentication information, and profile settings. Supabase handles account registration, sign-in, and password-reset messages.
  • Fitness and coaching records: goals, training experience, availability, current and goal weight, injuries or limitations you disclose, assigned workouts, sets, repetitions, exercise loads, durations, dates, and notes. These details can reveal health information. Share only what is relevant to your training.
  • Images and posts: an optional avatar photo, Progress Wall text and photos, and any form-review videos or other material you send directly to your coach. Directly supplied videos are handled through the communication channel agreed with you; the website has no video-upload form.
  • Technical information: service providers receive information needed to deliver the site, such as IP address, browser details, requested resources, and request times. An online count uses a temporary random identifier and active status; it does not broadcast your name, email, or account identifier.
  • Site traffic: on the production site, we count page views and browser-tab sessions, record the page name and external referring domain, and estimate time while a page is visible. The traffic records use random tab and page identifiers. They do not include your account ID, IP address, full URL, search terms, or a full referring URL. The coach sees aggregate reports, including recent page activity. Tracking is skipped when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal or Do Not Track setting.

Training preferences and payments: we store your selected training formats, agreed package, amount, due date, payment and subscription status, invoice records, and monthly enrollment consent. We also store hold requests, their return dates, any reason you choose to provide, and your coach’s response. Payments open on Stripe’s hosted checkout. Stripe handles payment details; this website does not store your full card number or security code. We share your account email, package name, amount, and reference identifiers with Stripe to process and reconcile payments and manage subscriptions. Do not put card information or unnecessary medical details in messages or hold reasons. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy.

Reminders: we store your billing, workout, and check-in reminder preferences, dashboard reminders, dismissals, and email delivery records. Optional reminder emails require your opt-in and server activation. You can change these preferences in your dashboard; account and payment-service messages are managed separately.

3. How information is used

We use information to respond to inquiries, arrange consultations and sessions, maintain accounts, design and adjust workouts, review progress, provide agreed coaching, manage public posts, troubleshoot the site, protect accounts, and meet applicable recordkeeping or legal obligations. Aggregate site traffic helps us understand which pages are useful and where visitors arrive from.

Information submitted for coaching is not permission to publish a testimonial, transformation photo, or advertisement. Public sharing is optional. Separate permission is required before NRG uses your name, image, or results in its own marketing.

4. Private records and public sharing

Private training records: your fitness profile, assigned workouts, and private progress logs require an account and are intended for access by you and your coach. Saving a private log does not itself publish it to the Progress Wall.

Progress Wall: if you choose to post or share a log, the selected name, avatar, post text, shared exercise details, date, and attached photo are visible to anyone, including people without an account. Your email is not used as the fallback public display name. Check the content and displayed name before publishing. Do not post another person's image or personal information without their permission.

Avatar photos: uploaded avatars are stored at public URLs and may appear with Wall posts. They are not confidential profile photos. A built-in icon avoids uploading a personal image.

You can delete your own Wall posts using the available controls or request removal by email. Removing a private log does not remove a separate Wall post. Public content can be copied or cached by others; removal from this site cannot remove every outside copy. Requests to search engines not to index a page do not make its content private.

5. Providers and disclosures

The site uses Supabase for authentication, the database, image storage, and online status. The website host delivers pages and assets. Google Fonts provides fonts, and jsDelivr delivers the Supabase browser library. Loading these resources sends technical request information to those providers. Provider processing may occur outside your state or country.

When optional reminder email is enabled and you opt in, Resend receives your verified account email address and the reminder content needed to deliver the message. Email reminders direct you to the dashboard and do not include your private workout notes or hold reason.

We share information with providers as needed to operate these features and deliver agreed services. We may also disclose information where required by law or reasonably necessary to address fraud, security incidents, or threats to someone's safety. Public content is disclosed as described above.

We do not sell information submitted through this website or use it for targeted advertising. The site does not include advertising pixels or third-party analytics tools.

External resources and social-media links have their own privacy practices. See Supabase's privacy policy, Google's privacy policy, and jsDelivr's privacy policy.

6. Browser storage and account security

Sign-in uses your browser's local storage to remember the authentication session and keep you signed in. Site traffic uses session storage for a random identifier that lasts for the browser tab. This is stored on your device. Clearing site data or blocking browser storage may sign you out or prevent account features from working. The site does not set advertising cookies.

Use a unique password, protect your email account, and sign out on shared devices. Contact us if you suspect unauthorized access. Access controls and secure connections help protect information, but no internet service can guarantee complete security.

7. Retention and your choices

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for active coaching, account administration, inquiries, legal obligations, and resolving disputes. The appropriate period depends on the record and its purpose. Traffic records older than 90 days are removed when the coach opens the traffic report; other information no longer needed is deleted or de-identified. Backup copies may remain until the provider's backup cycle removes them.

You may update the available fitness-profile fields and delete your own progress logs and Wall posts in the site. Email Eric.Douglas@NRG-PT.com to request access to or a copy of your information, correct other details, request deletion of an account or uploaded image, or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity. Legal obligations may require some records to be kept, and we will explain relevant limits when responding.

Additional privacy rights and response requirements may apply where you live. You can use the same email address to exercise those rights. Optional photos and public sharing are not required to receive coaching.

8. Children

This website is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit a child's personal information through the public forms or Progress Wall. If you believe we received information from a child under 13, contact us so we can investigate and remove it as appropriate. A parent or guardian should contact NRG directly before arranging services for a minor.

9. Changes and contact

We will update this page and its date when practices change. Material changes will receive additional notice where required, and we will obtain consent where required before using existing information for a new purpose.
